Detective Alvin Miller!

Green Mountain does not usually function as an adoption agent but in this case we felt we had to do something. "Alvin" came to us when his owner had to go to a retirement home that would not accept her pets with her. Her dog was quickly adopted but Alvin has spent some time with us as we tackled his sensitive stomach issues. We have got those under good control now. He has had recent blood tests that show he is in excellent health overall. The issue that has so far prevented him from finding a home is that, despite his sweet and gentle nature towards people and dogs, Alvin hates other cats!

We are very fond of Alvin and we would love to place him in the home of one of our wonderful clients.

Sex: Male/neutered

Breed: Domestic short haired cat

Eyes, ears nose, throat: normal

Kidney function: normal

Thyroid function: normal

Heart function: normal

Skin/coat: normal

Musculoskeletal: normal

Diet: A hypoallergenic diet works best. Diets such as Hills z/d, Purina HA but Innova Evo wet and dry cat food also works well with him.

Medications: Budensonide (an oral steroid). 1 capsule (opened and mixed in with food) every other day.

Temperament: Affectionate, friendly, inquisitive, laid back towards people and dogs
